Supervision
Supervision is learning through reflection on one's own work experiences.
As a supervisee you learn to investigate your own actions, so that you gain insight into your own actions and can improve this permanently. As a supervisee, you decide for yourself which experiences and questions are current.
I offer individual and group supervision to Creative Therapists ( all discilines), Schema Therapists and Bachelor trained professionals working in social professions for example as a social worker or youth protector.
As a supervisor I have to comply with the requirements of the various registers and professional codes. The supervision process requires time and regularity and requires careful construction and dismantling. Supervision programs usually consist of 10 to 20 times spread over a calendar year. The frequency of the meetings is often 1x every 3 to 4 weeks. A supervision meeting lasts 60 or 90 minutes at a time.
In the supervision I use non- verbal working methods such as role playing, working with cards, movement.
After each meeting you write a reflection that you send well in advance for the next supervision. I also like it when you record the sessions of a number of clients on camera and show them during our meetings so that we can literally see what happens during your treatments. It is good if you prepare a supervision in advance so that you have a clear idea of what you want to discuss.
Depending on the number of sessions agreed, we schedule evaluations after each supervision period to see how your process is going. We will then look at your learning objectives and you as a supervisor can also give me feedback. If necessary, we can then make some adjustments and draw up points for attention for the next supervision period.
